Timbul of Srimulat

If you know the famous comedian group—Srimulat (joined since 1979), you might have known Timbul. He is one of the senior members of that group who was born in Magelang, Central Java on Desember 28th 1942. His real name is Timbul Suhardi. People usually know him as Timbul.
Timbul is one of the best comedians for all time for me. I believe many of you would agreed with me. He has entertained many people from 2 to 3 generations. His makes people laugh in very honest, polite way. You might remember some of his funny move like accidentally stuck his mike to his eyes or missed when putting hands on the table and fall like a child when he is trying to sit but missed the chair.
I like the way he makes people laugh. Very entertaining and rarely has to make fun off other people (just like nowadays comedian in Indonesia). His joke suits for all ages. The jokes never contain SARA (Racial and Religion). Sometimes I think nowadays joke played by young comedian is not good for kid to watch. Cause it is sometimes rude and sexual. Timbul’s joke is universal. He is just very funny.
Unfortunately today (Thursday, March 26th 2009) Indonesia has lost one of the best artist and comedian for all time. Timbul has passed away (at 13:00) in the aged of 67. He has suffer for complicated diseases for 2 to 3 months. He left his wife and 6 children.
It is a great lost for the entire artist and comedian in Indonesia. With this I hope I can express my deep condolences.

I've Change

I am not who I was. Is it only my feeling or do I really change? Did I like to change? Do you like to change? I don't like it as much as you do.

I see you look GREAT today. You may have problem just like every body does, but you just know what to do. You fight to solve it. Impressive! It really help when we can do something. You have what you have until today, you even have what other people might not have. You have won many things to be what you've became. Every body is not themselves anymore in the past. We change. To change in such a good way is what we strive for.

For you who have more spirit and who realize the good way to change. Please, share it to others. Just like one candle light. It can light thousand even millions of candles without have to lose its own light.

To walk in the road of change, there are always some rocks, grasses, mud, mountains, and sometimes river. When you're hand in hand and watch each others back, I don't think you can't do what you want to do. You can reach what ever you want to reach. You are right that togetherness might cause conflict and misunderstanding. But conflict and misunderstanding are also rocks and mud on the wet grass. Remember when you were together crossing rocky and muddy roads hand in hand in the cloudy evening sky. You were in the same side same vision and same purpose. Togetherness has brought you and your best partner on the top of the hills. Out of the problems. You will see that you always have choice to change and influence a good way to change or let the change takes you over cause you'll never stop things to change.

I want to change. You also do. Of course in a better way than yesterday. So let's share this spirit and motivation. Be a candle. That's what friends are for.
